This photograph was taken at Parkgate on the Wirral. I love the great expanse captured in this image and thought it would be the perfect accompaniment to my latest post.. It's nice when things come together. I am currently working on three new exciting ventures which I will discuss further as and when they happen. For now I best bury my head and get on with some drawing. Lots to do!
Bzzzz. These photographs capture the hand-drawn bee badge assortment I created for the Honey House at Braythorne farm, Otley. I used a gestural style of drawing to capture the busy nature of a worker bee. It was pleasant drawing something other than trees for a change as it encouraged me to use my pencil in a different manner.

The Day Colour Forgot!
Sheeps at Moel Famau
These are some photographs I took on Saturday while journeying to Moel Famau, Wales on a lovely summer's day out. The views were breathtaking once we reached the top. It's not surprising that so many artists and embroiderer's have felt compelled to draw and stitch these Welsh hills, the colours were beautiful. I, however accidently set my camera to black and white that day so you will have to imagine the colours for yourself.
